QT before Tank, help deciding on fish now

I haven't purchase my setup yet, and am planning in the 70-120 gallon range. Dang it, the more time passes the higher the gallon size goes! I'm planning to start with mostly a softies setup. I'll ask about softies on another thread. What I'm interested in, is what fish and how many to start with? My thoughts are 2-3 fish. Knowing this I am going to get a 29 gallon QT started very soon, and am interested in what starter fish to buy to start quarantining right now, please?

There are lots of options. I personally like Blennies and gobies because they seem to have great personalities. I currently have a Lawnmower blenny, a couple of Pajama cardinals and 3 small green Chromis, and a coral beauty in my 70 gal mixed reef. All are great and although I haven't had any problems with the Coral Beauty, they can be a bit of a risk for nipping at corals. I just keep him well fed. Clownfish are great additions as well.

It all depends on what you like. Most start out with Clowns, gobies, etc. I would wait on any Tangs or Angels or anything that’s semi to aggressive till last to prevent territorial aggression.

if You go with the larger tank your option grow a lot. I'd think a 29 gl Q/T is a fine size.

Thanks. I'm trying to go slowly on this process. 29 gl seemed to be a common suggestion. Doing this now, will allow me to have fish ready once my DT cycles.
