QT confusion

I am wanting to do things right so I want to build a QT. I'm so confused. I've read so many conflicting articles & opinions. How's the best way to build the QT & do I medicate even without any indications? Do I quarantine corals too or just dip? Thanks in advance for the help.

I treat every fish with copper for 6-8 weeks before it goes into my display, 4-6 weeks cupramine & 2 weeks Paraguard reason for this is if you don't treat and the fish seems fine,it can still be carrying disease.
