Hi, Randy...things look lots better in my DT...now its the QT...I kept it going, fed a bit since Chucky, now there's one small yellow watchman in this 4 gal. tank...noticed today that the ammo badge is not as yellow as it should be...changed water...still shows a little...

Question: since there's copper in the tank, can I use AmmoLock on a temporary basis to protect the little guy?...any advise and suggestions would be very welcome (as usual)...Thanks...

What type of copper?

Seachem recommends against Cupramine with ammonia binding chemicals.

For other types of copper, I do not know for sure that it is an issue, but I might avoid it. Some have speculated it converts Cu++ to Cu+, which may be true and could be a concern.
