I am currently qt'ing a group of frags i got a little over a month ago in a jbj 20 frag tank with no fish obviously. But i have a question regarding some frags i have in my nuvo 10. the nuvo 10 has been set up for 5 years with the same clownfish in it the whole time. I added some new frags about 3 months ago. My question is can i transfer frags from my nuvo 10 to my newly setup reefer 450 without qt'ing them fishless because the clown has never showed any signs of any disease or sickness ever. But i wasn't sure if ich could lay "dormant" so to speak in the tank and the clown just has a very strong resistance. Im going out on a limb here but just want to make sure i am very cautious adding anything to my new reefer.

Yes, in my opinion it would be best to QT them fishless if you want to move them over. Clowns will rarely show symptoms of crypto but that doesn't mean they cannot act as a host.

Clowns tend to be more resistant than the average fish because of their some coat, at least that's my understanding. Especially if they're healthy fish. I wouldn't risk it

Thanks for the advice guys I really appreciate, I’m not gonna risk it not after taking so much time setting up the Reefer and qt’ing all my fish.
You are wise beyond my years! ;):p
