Qt death rate

my guess is, if done correctly, very low.
most fish die in QT (i think), because they were already dying anyway, or the shock of a new system (parameters / meds) kills them. if you transfer and medicate properly, i would think non would die (of course there are fish that don't do well with copper... but that's a different story).

QT with meds is not overly stressful on a fish if done correctly (follow the humblefish directions). The biggest issue with me is appetite suppression, so I like to fatten them up for a few days before introducing meds (unless they are already showing signs of having something).
Go for it. Clowns are very hearty and a good fish to introduce yourself to QT with. It will also teach you alot about fish husbandry and you'll probably appreciate them as pets more (and save yourself constant headaches down the road).

Just abit nervous lol i dont want to start killing fish but i think ill give it a shot a hope for the best
Yeh my clowns are doing well so far in non medicated qt
They follow me from left to right when im next to the tank so i can feed them lol
