Not sure if its an injury from running into something or an infection. I got her a week ago. In QT for observation. Eating like a pig.

Getting lazier and lazier with upkeep!
Good to keep her in quarantine for awhile and watch this. Pink coloration like that can be injury or uronema.

Good news, must have an injury. All healed up. She is eating pellets already. Two more weeks in QT an she will be ready to be put into the display tank.

Well I thought she was ready for the display tank. But she started scratching on every thing. I started copper treatment. Raised it slowly over a week. The scratching decreased but one of the pectoral fin at the base gotten red like its uronema. It looked like it was getting worse. Added metro plex, I might have added a little too much on the first dose. After 2 or 3 days she is now blind. Bumping into things, which got better over time. She gets excited when I feed frozen brine shrimp. She eats what touches her mouth. She then scoots backward on the bottom to try and get some more. This has been going on for 2 weeks. Is it time to put her down? I don't think her sight is coming back.
