QT Fish Has Ich (During PraziPro Treatment)

My swallowtail angels are both showing signs of ich. I JUST finished my first 7 day round of Prazipro, so what should I do at this point?

I just did a 50%~ water change and was planning on dosing Prazipro for the 2nd (and last) round, but at this point, should I immediately begin my copper treatment? I use chelated copper with a hanna checker and take 5 days to bring my fish up to full therapeutic.

One medication is a prophylactic "in case" they have worms/flukes etc. Besides even with one dose of prazi you've bought yourself quite a bit of time on the helminth front. The other one would be a treatment for a known disease, so you should treat for ich at this point. Consider posting a pic to confirm the diagnosis.

I've already started dosing chelated copper since I posted this. I'll be taking 5 days to bring it up to 1.75~ ppm.

You can mix copper + Prazipro (with caution). Just watch out for cloudy water (i.e. bacterial bloom), and have freshly mixed SW on hand to do a fast WC if the QT becomes too cloudy.

I had no intentions of doing a 2nd round of Prazi + Copper at the same time. Are you suggesting I could do it safely?

With caution, yes. So long as the water doesn't cloud up too much from combing those meds, you are fine. The odds are in your favor.
