Is there any websites that sell QT fish? I want a fish that can be QT for a month or so with the proper procedures. I have my own QT tanks, but I do not have the time to QT any fish. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know. Thanks

Blake

I just looked at their website, they don't seem to have much available. Is it just what you see is what you get or can you put in a request for a specific fish or coral? Their quarantine process is awesome! I would definitely buy from them!

Have you has personal experience with them? Their qt process is really nice. Thanks for mentioning then

divers den does, but still advises to do your own qt.
They do not do proper qt they just acclimate them and address anything that comes up. They are by no means ich or parasite free and should be qt'd

You definitely can request fish, that is where a lot of the business comes from. I think the site is a bit misleading because they are in a special niche given that they truly QT and condition fish, so you may not see a ton of fish available, but it is because they care and put a ton of effort into their fish.

I have not gotten fish from them yet. I know the owners, have gotten a lot of coral from them. I am in the works on getting fish from them, just waiting for the right specimen to become available (pretty specialty fish, a hairy angler). I do plan on getting the rest of my fish from them once my new display is ready if that counts for anything haha.

Most of my fish are from ERC. Great to deal with and have had zero issues. I use to QT my fish and can if I need to but I just don't have the time to properly do it. I don't mind paying more for the peace of mind. Usually have a decent amount of fish in so don't let the website scare you away.

Thanks for the info. I sent them a message & I'm waiting to hear back from them. Are they still sponsors of R2R? I don't see them listed on the sponsors page, but they show that they are on their website. Regardless, I'm excited about their services!

Do they list the details of their QT procedure anywhere? I couldn't find anything other than they treat prophylactically and QT for 8 weeks.

If you hover over the fish link on the top of the page, you will see quarantine, click on that! Their quarantine is very extensive.

Thanks guys! No wonder I couldn't find it. Their QT procedure sounds solid. I think I will contact them for a few fish I'm interested in. At the very least I would feel comfortable just watching them in a cycled QT for a few weeks with that protocol behind them.
