QT for ick

Recently my tank has ick again due to add too much fishes at once. I have couple 20g and 10ga tank, I plan to use water from DT and put some bio ball has been in sump for a while into QT. Will also run hob and sponge filter. Should I use bio spiral or not because my Dt 1 year old mixed reef? Will I able to use Prime to lower amonia while treating copper power in case amonia get high???

Yes, you can use Prime with "chelated coppers" like Copper Power or Coppersafe. But NOT with "ionic coppers" like Cupramine or Brightwells Cuprion.
