What kind of quarantine should I do for hermits, shrimp, snails and cucumbers?

I have an ich free tank and I would like to keep it that way. Also I don’t want to let in acro eating flat worms or red bugs. For corals I am doing a Bayer dip and 76 day quarantine.

I imagine I would do a 76 day quarantine on snails and hermits. Unless I can get the hermits to jump to a clean shell but what about crabs, shrimp and cucumbers bodies can ich live on them? I know they won’t feed on them but can they be in the Tomont stage?

Yes, tomonts can live on crabs, shrimp, snails, and other inverts, so an invert qt is a smart idea. The only requirement for the tank is that it never has any fish in it. If you want to quarantine your corals as well, proper lighting and flow will be necessary too in the tank. Stick any inverts in there for at least 76 days before introducing them to your tank. These two threads might be helpful-

Thanks for those links. I’m glad to have confirmation that molting will be enough for shrimp. I wish we knew if they can attach to cucumbers. I would think it would be like starfish and urchins but I don’t want to be the experiment. Anybody have updated info on cucumbers?
