So first time with ich. Stock list includes: hippo tang, yellow tang, tomani tang, 2 clowns, royal gramma, ruby fairy wrasse, and diamond goby. My hippo tang seems to be the worst, was initially going to QT in a 20L until I noticed some spots on my other tangs. Was reading up on the fallow method, could I house these (minus the goby) in a 40 breeder successfully? I have copper safe and a Hannah copper checker. Any experience or insight on this process would be very helpful. For the qt i have a seeded sponge filter, unseeded HOB, Hester and wavemaker. Temp is about 80-82 in QT

I dont know how big your tangs are but it will be tight. Ideally I would try to add another tank to split them up for more room. The problem will be keeping track of ammonia levels. I QT with Copper Power and Hanna checker and works well. Also, I would try to lower the temp closer to 77-78. Good luck!

I’d say all fish are between 3-5”. It’s a fairly new system.

That's alot of fish in a 40 breeder QT. Time is of the essence so use it now but I would look for bigger tank or another 40 breeder to split them up.
