so i bought rockworks from a guy.
he say he got it from the ocean a week ago. and then it dried up while he was scaping it.
now its with me. first, im planning to bleach cure it.

and then probably let it sun-dry for at least 3 days. or until its all dried up.

would this get rid of the unwanted diseases?

High enough bleach concentrations will destroy anything organic. 10% with long enough residence time should be enough. Make sure to rinse thoroughly, sun dry, and soak in water with prime to remove any remaining.

does this include ich and other diseases that can attach to the rockworks?

Either bleach or desiccation should take care of ich/velvet, but bleach will also help you to remove dead sponges, algae, etc. Leaving things like that on the rock will likely raise ammonia levels higher than you'd like.
