My fish has been in therapeutic copper treatment for exactly 2 weeks. No signs of disease, just a precautionary quarantine treatment of new fish from LFS. 4 days prior to that was a ramp up. My QT has sprung a leak and now they are in a bucket with the same treated water. They appear to be fine and was eating. I really don't want to spend some money on another QT at the moment. Do you think it is fine to go ahead and throw them in my DT. For the 2 weeks and 4 days i observed them, they appeared to be fine. Another option is i do have a dose of the 2 part Safety Stop. Should i dip them in that and then the DT? or do you think going from copper to medicated dip be to harsh on them. 1 fire goby, and 2 benggai cardinals

It all just boils down to risk assessment : your clowns need a home, and your dt only has 3 fish in it. I’d say the risks balance. That said, a solid quarantine would be 30 days copper and a 14 day prazi treatment, so this is quite a bit shorter.

Ive read that 14 day would be fine(if no apparent infection) but transfer to another STERILE tank for prazi or further observation.
