I have a yellow tang and purple tang that have been in my qt/observation tank for 5 weeks. Have not treated them with anything yet as they seems perfectly healthy. There's no flashing, spots, or injuries.

If they dis have velvet or flukes or some other contagion would they have shown up already?

5weeks in and no signs I would call them good to go.

"should" be fine. Typically if there was a pathogen present it would have showed up by now.

Personally I wouldn't add any fish that haven't had a copper treatment. That's just me, I'm crazy and I know it! ;)

Thanks folks appreciate it. I understand what you say about copper.
