QT QUESTION, ARE MY FISH READY FOR THE DT?

Any other symptoms? Breathing fast? Swimming into a powerhead? Sensitivity to light? Flashing?
Hes breathing fast now because I gave a him a FW dip. But before he was fine. He does get skiddish when I shine the light on him but he was always like that. Hes still eating so is his 2 tank mates. He was eating 5 min after I finished his FW dip.
Rite now I the copper in the tank is at .35 i will bring it up 2 .50 tom night.
Any other suggestions?

What about brook? Have you treated with metroplex at all? It does kind of look like velvet, but brook can look similar in the early stages as well... and can be suppressed by copper (but not eliminated)

My bet is on velvet but this is a possibility as well. I always use metro and copper together. Make sure you have airstone and power head aimed at surface for maximum oxygen when mixing meds.

Good morning!
So most of the "spots" fell off. It was never spots more like a fuzz. I forgot the name of that bacterial infection that looks like cailiflour . I'm thinking its that

You’re talking about Lympho but I don’t think it’s lympho from the pic.

I thought brook is only on clownfish?

I thought brook is only on clownfish?

Brook is highly contagious and just as lethal as velvet, it is not confined to clowns only but they are the ones who typically suffer from it the most. I would follow the advice from @ngoodermuth and use Metro at the same time to ensure you can knock both out if it’s one or the other.

I thought brook is only on clownfish?

Most common in clownfish, but can effect other fish as well. And, some fish can carry it without showing signs. I treat for it as a preventative.

The one thing I’ve learned is not to rush any treatments because it always comes back and bites me and I have to start over.

I have 2 other fish in the same tank that are not showing any signs of the spots. Should i move them or keep them in the same tank as dory?

They will all need to be treated and the DT left fallow for 6 weeks to cover Velvet
