QT Question for Clown

So all of my fish somehow got ich even though nothing new was added in about 2 months. Im taking everyone out tomorrow for QT.

My question is my clownfish host my BTA, if I take them out, will they ever return to it? Took a few months to have them host it and would suck to lose that.

I don't believe there is a guarantee they will go back to the same anemone, however I think it's likely since there was something about it that they preferred in the first place over another location or coral in the tank.

The thing with ich is that sometimes it will just survive unnoticed in a tank or its being "managed" in a tank where again it is really just surviving to where it isn't noticeable or it just isn't a severe enough outbreak to kill anything. When its being "managed" its basically just a ticking time bomb for when you'll have a nasty outbreak that will kill something

Yep, thats exactly what I had. A dang ticking time bomb. And my luck is im going on vacation in 2 weeks. Yay me!
