Good morning,
I am working through QT for a dart fish. I have had several tragically but i am close to the end. This is what has happened.
I started with 3 fish dart fish, grama, and a 6 line.
I brought them home and put them in QT with the lights out.
I had all the fish eating and started copper and prozi.
The 6 line did not do well with the copper.
so i stopped everything and got them eating again.
I tried one more time with the copper and lost the 6 line. ;-(
so i stopped everything again.
-- we are now about 2 weeks in
I then talked to Humbelfish about TTM.
I did a fresh water fip to look for Brooks
I started TTM and 3 days in i saw white on on the side of the gram. i started Kanaplex + Metroplex for the infection.
i also did a second reound pf prozi. on week 2 and 3.
I made it through TTM and got the fish back in the QT. everything was going well. the fish were eating and looked happy.
I then had to go away for the weekend and i set up an automatic feeded.
well the point of sale dumped a tone of food.
the amonia was through the roof when i got back and the grama had passes.
-- we are now about 6 weeks into QT
I have done 2 large 50 water changes and the dart fish is moving and eating. He looks happy.
So my question when is it safe to move him to DT?
