Ordering fish online and wondering if its safe to put the fish that came thru the mail right into low salinity qt? Or should I put en in a regular salinity qt?

Ideally you want to match salinity in your QT to the salinity your fish come in. Most of the time fish you order online will be in low salinity water already, say 1.015

Most online fish suppliers already ship fish in lower than optimal salinity (usually ~1.017 SG). As mentioned above, it's best to match QT salinity with that of the transport bag. If you want to drop salinity further, I would wait a day or so for the fish to settle in, then lower salinity over 48 hours. Same goes for copper - give them some time to settle in then gradually raise the levels over several days to therapeutic range.

Thanks that answered a lot, ok say I notice a white slot on a fish that was in transit can I add them right into a copper solution? Or should I wait instill a day or two then add the fish into something like that?
Can you post a picture of the white spot for us to look at?
