QT question

I’ve got a 55g QT with nothing in it but live rock. I had quarantined a Tang and treated him with copper until the Ich was gone. He was in this tank for about 90 days (while waiting for new tank to put him in). I stored a bunch of live rock in the QT (while waiting for new tank), and now that the new tank is ready, I want to transfer some of the live rock from the QT to the new DT. Is this risky? I don’t want to transfer Ich or copper to the new DT.

It is not recommended. The very reason people use PVC instead of rock in QTs

I agree with @NowGlazeIT this would not be recommended. Even if you dried the rock (defeating the purpose) i wouldn't use it....
