Would you add sand to your bare bottom quarantine tank just to quarantine a mandarin or a goby for a few weeks to a month?

When you’re quarantining a fish that requires sand, a small Pyrex dish full of sand will do wonders. I did this for my Melanurus Wrasse. On the plus side a small dish of sand won’t really absorb a lot of things like copper. It may absorb a little, but not much. I found Fiji pink to be a good sand to use in quarantine for this purpose.
