Sorry if they have been covered already. Right now, I have two QT systems. In the bigger one, its housing about a dozen fish. The second has only a black tang and a cleaner wrasse. I just added these two into recently, while the others have been in there for over 3 weeks and at therapeutic levels of copper. So here are my questions:

1. If I wanted to treat the tang and wrasse as a "just in case", would it be for 4 weeks with copper? If I do not and do not see any signs of disease, when is it "safe" to declare "disease free"?

2. The bigger tank thats been running copper, has a very "fishy" smell to it, something I never experienced before. Any idea why?

Because ich & flukes can harbor inside the gills, almost indefinitely, I would treat for both. 4 weeks in copper, followed by 2 rounds of Prazipro should get the job done. Or vice versa.

Organics are probably building up. No ammonia, right?
