Melt Pr or others, dontou qt everything that goes in your tank? If so have to ever gotten ich after qt where you had to return back to qt?

Setting up a new tank and I am starting slow with 2 clowns. I am getting mostly all know medications like prazi and copper, should I medicate my fish before going into display? I think ich is something that happens just a matter of when but at some point it will come. I know a few that don't qt and a few that do qt and still get ich.

All fish and coral should be qt. But this thread is not about that. It's about designing a qt section on a 7ft wide by 8ft tall wall. Using every inch of space to get as many qt tanks in as possible

If you quarantine properly you shouldn't see any parasite come through. There are many quarantine methods and each develop their own QT according to their needs and level of risk they are willing to take. You can use medications to treat fish even if no symptoms appear, or you can observe and treat each symptom. I honestly prefer to perform Paraguard or Acriflavine bath then TTM + prazi then 2 weeks observation. This will allow me to eliminate ich and flukes and the rest (if any) should become visible by that time.
Best of luck
