I am one trade away from getting some 11K 48 " T-5 on ice capbalasat or somethin to go with aqua blues, then I'll be jammin. thinking of runnin all blues over the QT tank.

What do ya think of that idea?

I have quite a bit of zoas and on and off issues so want to QT all of them for at least a month from the main sytem. they will be dipped ever few days in tropic marin pro coral cure. the ones I have haven't shown any real good sign latly but I have had isses in the past and now have the ablity to QT them all, so I know/hope I start from scratch, on parisites?

Then QTy everthing else that comes to me!!

When I first got started with zoas I had a bad nudi problem and I ended up putting everything in QT and dipping them every few days for a month. It worked great for me.

Alot say to not have lights on for awhile after the dips, but with them in some much secsesion, I want them to have some light so all blue would be OK, YES?

I have heard of people hitting their colonies with full light right after a dip so I think you should be ok....i'm not the expert though ;)

I tohught after the dips the next day or so t oleave the lights off to not over irritate the polyps and give them time to get happy after dips?

I have TMPCC, I have been using as a dip in FW, thinking of doing a real low salinity dip next time?

If I add ALL my Zs and PS to one tank can I treat it with interceptor, will that kill everythin including NUDIES? I have a LG dog pill, I am sure would treat a 70 gallon tank, and if effective as I hear would save me SOOO much time!

Not sure if this is a 'true' dip method but each week, I take some zoa colonies out and literally run tap water over them to kill the hundreds of bristle worms. I then put them right back in the same spot ...lights on and all. Believe it or not, those colonies actually seem to love it cause they are growing like mad!

I can't wait to get flamed on this one LOL

I ma sure no flames, if it works for you don't devieate, I don't have bristle worm issues. AND I can't imagin that would be that bad on them honestly, IMO.

Coulb be the fact that you are cleaning the ditritus off them and keeping them clean is what might be helping them as well......
