Just as the title says... How many of you QT your snails and other inverts? Just curious what the normal procedure for everyone is.

Do you prolifically treat all your fish prior to moving them to DT?

I currently just have 2 fish in there. They will be the only fish in the tank. They are currently healthy and active. Just want to add a few small snails etc to help with uneaten food and the sand bed. Tank is about 4 months old.

How big is your tank and what fish do you have (just curious!)? I don’t quarantine CUC but I’m sure there are some that do. And theoretically, it might be important to do so. I’m sure someone will chime in!

If you go through all the trouble to qt every fish, then you should also qt anything else the is wet and is going in the tank. If you don’t qt fish then there is no point in qt’ing anything else.

20L tank with 2 small clowns and a few zoa colonies. (All doing well so far) So no more fish to keep the bio-load down. (Currently building a 40Breeder) So I am thinking 4 snails or so would be sufficient, or I hope so. If anyone has a stocking list that would be great!

Add a tailspot blenny you won’t be disappointed. Good algae grazer and fun as all get out to watch

Is it worth adding the snails? Algae is not bad at all but you can see some fish poop and food on the sand bed. I am sure it is breaking down but figured it could not hurt to add a few.
