I was curious as how to get my alkalinity in my qt tank down to match my dt? My qt sits at 11.069 and my dt is 10.398. I'm transferring all of my sps over to the qt so I don't want to shock them with an alk swing.

That helps, but I'm a little slow at trying to understand the math to do this for myself...would you know an easier conversion or equation that I could use?

if you are so worried about alk swing of 0.7, increase the alk in the dt by adding baking soda (if pH is high in tank) or soda ash (if pH in tank is low) and bring it upto 11 dkh to match your qt. then move the corals. personally i would just move them as is and not worry about swing.
use any reef calculator to find out how much you need to dose.
