Hello you guys,
I am about to setup my first ever 20 gal QT tank and have a couple of questions. Can I just medicate the system without actually seeing symptoms of the fish?. The reason i say this is because i don't have space in my appt to put a QT tank so i am going to set it up in my dad's house. meaning i wont see the tank every day (only weekends). I'll go and do a water change and thats about it.
The plan is to add copper and general cure so they can take care of the most common fish diseases and parasites. After 30 days i just move the fish to my main display.
Please help me out since i have seen a lot of videos they dont specify exactly that part of it. The mention the medications but not that. I only saw one guy in a video from reefdudes and he does that exactly. he runs copper power and general cure from API. The copper will take care of ich and velvet and the general cure will take care of other ones.
Your help with this will be much appreciated!
thanks in advance.
