Hi all,

Just wondering about my QT tank size. I originally ran a 10g but was convinced to get a 20 gallon long for 3 butterflyfish I was QT'ing, of which only 1 survived likely due to shipping damage. I have a pair of bellus angelfish coming in tomorrow and the 20 gallon QT is all I have, will this be sufficient to at least get them through a course of prazi? My only other option is dump and pray, which is far from ideal...

As long as they aren't huge, a 20 long should work for a qt.

Test for ammonia frequently, and use water changes and Prime as needed.

Agreed. My primary QT is a 20L and it suffices for all but the largest of fish.

Yep, 20L for me too. I've quarantined tangs in it with no issues, including 3 months for a powder blue.
