qt tank

hi i am setting a new qt tank i have some question i am gonn make 24/7 running qt tank i have 2 questions

if i qt fish and they not show any signs of ilness or white spots should i treat them or just leave them qt or 3 weeks ?

and when i treat them do i need to change the whole water or i make some water changes ?
