QT tank

What do I need for a QT? I really only have space for a 5 gallon. Do I have to keep it running or can I set up and break down whenever I need it.

Get at least a 10 gallon. Just turn it sideways and you've utilized the same width of space.
It is a simple setup----- hang on back power filter, heater, NO sand needed, A couple of PVC tubes for hiding/sleeping, A decent aquarium light, and a couple pieces of base or Live rock.

I will add BioSpira for seeding bacteria, and the ammonia alert badge by sea chem to ensure you did it right!

Also, copper power, and the Hanna copper checker!

You could take it down, just make sure when you get a new addition to get more bottled bacteria to go with it.
