@Humblefish and R2R, Masters I beg of your knowledge.

Alright I have 2 x 20L tanks;
One will be permanent cycled QT for coral and inverts
One temp cycled for first QT and Hospital.

Both have 1 x 70 Gal Rated AquaClear Filter
Both have some sort of powerhead, cant remember right now, one of those dual purpose ones.
Fish one has additional air sponge filter.

Statement: I will keep seachem matrix bags and sponge in invert tank for quick cycle of fish QT.

Treatment of Fish QT: After @Humblefish posts I am going to use API General Cure, and Prazipro.

Question 1: What to run in each filter? Right now I just am thinking, sponge, seachem matrix, live rock.

Question 2: Should I stop the HOB filter when treating API or Prazi?

Question 3: When should I use / not use the air sponge filter?

Both medications are dewormers, so use one or the other. Not both.

All I use is the sponge on my Aquaclears when dosing meds.

Question 2: Should I stop the HOB filter when treating API or Prazi?

No

Question 3: When should I use / not use the air sponge filter?

You can use it at all times.

Thanks guys, yes I had forgotten API General treats both, that's why I got it, many thanks to your list @Humblefish in your signature.

Now I have to figure out which 2 meds I was going to run.

Is copper and api general cure complementary?

You can run both. It's always best to do one at a time unless you absolutely have no other choice. This is part of the "better safe than sorry" mantra.

I like Coppersafe and Prazipro. Just can't do them both at the same time.

It's also a good idea, imo, to have carbon packets and some form of copper removal filter, such as CupriSorb. Never know when they could come in handy.

You actually can do them together, it's just not recommended since it can cause a bacterial bloom. I use them together every week at the store. The trick is to avoid dosing them at the same time. It's always safer to do them separately if you're able to.

Looks like

Metronidazole: Treats internal parasites (worms), Brooklynella; possibly Uronema marinum.

Prazipro (praziquantel): Treats flukes, black ich, and some internal parasites (worms).

Still need copper / CP for regular ich OR TTM?

I would keep copper on hand just in case of a velvet outbreak. No need to use it if you go TTM unless you see signs but velvet acts so fast you may not have time to run out and get some. Then again, that is why I bought it... and when I realized just what a pain it was to do TTM I switched to treating with copper. Make water.. mix water... fill tank... break down tank... clean tank... make water.. mix water... fill tank... break down tank.... ugh!
