QT water changes

I'm doing a full QT of my entire tank (11 fish) because of an ich outbreak. How often should I do water changes?

You need to manage ammonia for the short term - using a good test kit, you need to keep the ammonia level below 0.25 ppm - using water changes and/or ammonia reducing bacteria.

What size tank?
What are you treating them with?

It's a 40 gallon, and so far I've just used copper safe, almost have the copper lvl to 2.25ppm
