Hello! Just a question about quarantine water and if I have to stick with RODI for the quarantine process? Having to do water changes frequently due to ammonia trying to creep up…. Have ceramic media in the tank it’s just not quite keeping up yet…. Is it necessary to use RODI or can I mix salt with the well water if I’m doing daily water changes? Tds are around 120 coming into the house… definitely using RODI in display…. Just removed all my fish due to ich…. Would be a lot easier staying on top of ammonia if I didn’t have to use rodi

Tested for copper already in the water and it’s pretty low at .01 with a Hanna checker

No - you would not need to do so - except if you're quaranting coral and are paranoid IMHO. Just condition tap water - and use it. Make sure you know whether your locality uses chlorine alone - or chlorine and chloramines

Thank you!!!!! Sure appreciate it. On my own well so no need to worry about chlorine
