so I have a yellow watchmen and a fire fish along with a small Cuc in my Nuvo 10. It’s been 2 maybe 3 weeks since I got them. They look healthy and eat well. The yellow watchmen doesn’t eat much. They have not been treated for anything since they been in there.

I want to put them in my Fusion Nuvo 20 at some point , but want to make sure they are healthy and clean before doing so.

There’s corals , cuc, ocellaris clown fish, cleaner shrimp in my fusion 20.

I have a battery of medication (metro, focus, prazipro, cupramine) on hand . Should I treat them?

Ok to observe them for any illness for 4 weeks then introduce to main tank?

I would rather not stress them by setting a hospital tank ( all equipment needed is on hand as well ... just not setup yet)

I seek wisdom in the best course of action

If you feel comfortable recognizing at least some of the most common fish illnesses then the risk of observing without medicating could be reduced.

Keep in mind that sometimes symptoms can be tricky to spot and many fish can be asymptomatic/subclinical. IME about 5-10% of the time when I observed and then introduced a fish without medication I regretted it.

To be as safe as possible consider the QT protocol @HotRocks developed:

I do not QT but rely on source (store) I get fish from, the overall swimming and health and insist on seeing the fish eat. Have been 98% lucky thus far over many years
