Recommended not to place in display tank for 45 days but ich should clear in 72 hours. Assure good oxygen available and water temp at 79 during treatment

Have a question for qt I notice my ammonia levels rising every day slowly using api test, started at .25 now today after 3 days and a water change it’s at 1. I used some bio spheres and a live rock from my dt plus some ceramic media I had, I thought this would do the trick and since I tested initially I thought I was good, I have already added the fish along with copper power to qt, my question is can I add biospira after and not do harm to the fish or cause a reaction?

You have to do water change. Just do 10%

I already did a water change this morning and it’s reading 1ppm ammonia

How are you reading ammonia? Copper can cause false high readings which is why an Seachem ammonia alert badge is recommended.

If you do have high ammonia I would do the water change and then add biospira.
