I got a scopas tang and a clownfish a week ago and they are currently in a quarantine tank with copper. I was wondering if the fish had parasites which they don’t and I gave them a freshwater dip and put them in a different tank would that take all the parasites off of them? And out of them ? I’m only talking about the main ones like ich velvet and brookynela.

No the freshwater dip won’t kill everything you listed. I would quarantine for at least 30 days using the copper treatment and then observe a week after the copper in regular water at minimum. That’s me, others might suggest different.

After they have been in copper for a little over a week will a freshwater dip help kill ich ?

Oh and one more thing what I meant was if they don’t have ich right now but they are in a quarantine tank for a little over a week and then I freshwater dip them and then put them in a different tank will they still get ich. I know the answer is probably the same just wondering
