Quarantine capacity

I have a 110gallon tank that I want to get a small purple, blue hippo, and white tail tang for but my quarantine tank is only 20 gallons and everyone says to add tangs at the same time is the 20gallons too small to have all 3 in at the same time for QT and if so how should I go about adding them at the same time?

20 gallons is pretty small. You might be better off grabbing some small tanks from petco and adding a sponge filter and QT each one separately. There is never a guarantee on adding fish and them getting along. If you add each one separately add the smallest one fish and the biggest last. Then hope they don't develop problems as they get bigger.

I’m learning this added two tangs out of qt into a tank together and they haven’t figured out who’s boss yet, multiple nori locations, feeding throughout the day…. Not super aggressive but might have to remove one I think

How big are the fish?

Today I got a purple and a white tail the purple is small but not a baby and the white tail is between small and medium I decided not to get the blue tang I noticed when I was drip acclimating them in a 5gallon bucket the purple took 2 bites out of the white tail but after adding them to the qt tank with multiple pipes for hiding they seem okay hopefully it was just something small and they don’t end up fighting too much

A 10G QT with adequate PVC piping for hiding should be plenty adequate for those two fish. In fact, you could add a few more small fish and be fine. Good luck and have fun!
