I QT everything before the display. While it's not as common, CUC can carry things on their shells. I'm guessing most people don't because they hardly QT their fish. But I've had instances where I didn't QT and had a parasite issue from snails. At least I think it was a parasite issue... it was a while ago.

But yes, I QT every living creature.

76 days fishless is the recommended quarantine time for inverts. @Humblefish @melypr1985 and @4FordFamily can guide you on qt!

Yes. All inverts and corals go through 76 days QT before going into the display. The link posted above explains it in detail.

Sorry; I know that this is an old thread but I'm just about to start the cycling process. My display is 230g so if I started with just a clean up crew and didn't add fish until say 90 days after the cycle was complete, any ich etc. should be dead by then, correct? I will also be running 2 UV sterilizers once the cycle is complete.
