Quarantine CUC

Do you quarantine Reefcleaners snails.

If so, why?
If no, why not?

I'm looking to buy in a couple days so I'd like to know.

Boy, that is a loaded question. Since they cannot handle chemicals, there is really no way to be 100% sure they are safe. I personally have not quarantined them, but with my track record, maybe I should be. I am just not sure how you can ever be sure they are safe for entry into the DT. I do rinse with tank water during acclimation and then throw it away and grab them out and drop into tank. I will be interested in what others do. Great question.

It's absolutely possible

Ich can attach to any hard(ish) surface in the cyst stage so yes, that includes corals and frags and our inverts.

I really don't want to quarantine them but since I'll be getting fish too, I might as well.
