I was wondering if it is recommended to quarantine and or treat an anemone before adding to a display tank kind of like what is recommended for fish. Right now my tank is fallow and I have fish in quarantine that are being treated for different things as a preventive before they get added to the DT. When I get anemones I don't want to bring in any type of parasite or infection so I was wondering what others do as a best practice?

Yes, if you can QT the nem I would recommend doing so 100% of the time. I do not believe that anemones can pass infections to corals/fish, but you want to deal with any possible roadblocks preemptively. It's much easier to treat a nem as soon as you receive it as opposed to putting in your display, letting it settle, and then having to yank it out to treat it later. more stress for the nem, for the inhabitants, and for you.

All you really need is a 10g tank, heater/thermometer, light, and HOB filter. Do daily 100% water changes, and dose CIPRO again daily with the new water.

Here is a great thread on how to treat nems: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/how-i-cipro.211822/
