Quarantine for 2 weeks vs 4 weeks

Hello everyone, I have a clownfish with ich in qt. Hes being treated with cupramine. The bottle instructs me to do .5 ppm dose for 14 days but should I extend treatment? He's going to remain in that tank after treatment. Should I do 2 weeks or 4 weeks or more?

Yep, I've seen all of it. He contracted it a week ago now. Had a friend break out with ich and this looks identical. To my knowledge brook looks more like peely skin and velvet is tiny dots making the fish have a velvety looking texture (observed at lfs)

I agree. If you can't transfer into a clean and sterile QT, then go the full four weeks at therapeutic levels of copper.
