Quarantine For Peppermint Shrimp?

Hello all!
So I plan on getting some peppermint shrimp for some of my tanks, however I have only ever purchased quarantined shrimp from Dr. Reef. I actually have only purchased inverts through him specifically, besides the original few hermits I got months ago. Unfortunately he is out of stock of peppermints, so I will be buying from my LFS. How would I go about quarantining peppermint shrimp? I know there is the 76 day rule for most inverts, but since ich tomonts wouldn’t attach themselves to a peppermint shrimp (as I read somewhere, may be incorrect), is there any easier way to quarantine, where I won’t have to keep them isolated for 76 days?

The odds of them bringing in parasites like ich are very small, but not zero (hence why Dr. Reef QT's all inverts; it's all about biosecurity) - 45 days at 81F in their own tank is the minimum recommended QT for inverts (and pretty much anything else going through QT too - rocks, sand, algae, snails, etc.). 76 days would probably be wise at temps lower than 81F.

Qt can be done in 60 days (as of recent that’s been determined as the longest ich can last), or 45 days at 81F like mentioned.
The chances of disease transfer is low, but still a possibility to account for. While ich does not feed off of shrimp, the dormant phase can still rest on the exoskeleton.

Reefcleaners usually has them and they are kept in a fishless system there (good if you are looking to expand your cuc anyway).

When I quarantine peppermint shrimp, I don’t feed them anything but aiptasia from my reef tank. I can usually suck off plenty of aiptasia with a hose from the sides of the tank. They are “trained” to eat aiptasia when they arrive in my reef.

I don’t have any aiptasia unfortunately XD. I only had it in one tank, and the addition of 2 shrimp to that tank destroyed the population in like 3 days

I quarantined everything wet that went in the display.

Coral, cuc, fish, etc...

Yes the same rule applies for the fallow period.

I'd normally just get a group of CUC and coral at the same time and put it in the 20 gallon frag tank I had that got the 5 gallons of auto water change water from the display each day.

I'd leave everything there for a fallow period with no new additions and then move to the display.

Annoying, but I never had a disease in the display.

just a word of caution - I would still quarantine from Reefcleaners - I got an Aiptasia from them. (The sole vendor I used for cuc into a new tank, new equipment, no livestock of any kind otherwise - pretty definitive)

I didn’t end up getting anything from them and quarantined myself. However, I did just get some frags over a month ago that I quarantined, and then moved to my frag. Just yesterday I spotted aptasia on one of them. I glued it over, but I guarantee it has already started spreading, so It looks like I’ll have to buy a new peppermint.
