I've had a blonde naso in QT for 24 days. She started eating about 10min after being introduced into the QT and has been perfect ever since. I did 2 rounds of prazipro. I've been off work so I've been able to closely watch her and she looks great, no signs of parasites, infection,.... I'm thinking about adding her to the DT and just wondering what the odds are from someone more experienced?

Looks beautiful with great coloring.
At about the 4 week mark I wouldn't be afraid to introduce.
Happy fish keeping!

I also proactively treat for ich first than follow up with Prazi. Just my process though.

One thing I would like to note is this, just because you don't SEE parasites doesn't mean they are not there. Ich in particular, the parasite goes after the fishes gills first with the only sign being slight inflammation with slightly heightened respiration.

The question really is dependent on where you are currently at. IF this is your first fish, treat it for ich. If however, you happen to know for sure ich is within your display after seeing it on other fish. I personally wouldn't treat for ich. Just keep in mind that it would also limit your possible selection of fish, omitting the much more susceptible to ich (Achilles, Powderblue, white cheek, etc.)

My plan was to treat with Cupramine but the fish looked so healthy I decided to wait. I've been watching her breathing it seems to be about 60 per min.
