Quarantine Lighting

Setting up my first quarantine tank, it’s a 10 gallon and I was wondering what kind of lights will be adequate. Do I only need white light?

Fish or corals. Corals need the same light as in the tank. Fish dont really need any.

fish, so they would be fine without any light? It would be in the same room as my main display so I can’t open windows for any light.

No lights needed though I find it nice to be able to see the fish and get them used to having light over them.

Light won't hurt but I wouldn't go out of my way to provide specific spectrum. A general sense of day and night is all you really need. This can be achieved through ambient light in the room.

Absolutely no need to spend a lot. I had a cheap Aqueon on my qt

I use a nic-crew led light for like $15 on amazon.

For fish, I just switch on the light on in the basement where the qt tank is.
My coral qt have Kessils.
