I looked at several Quarantine threads and videos and I didn't find the answer to my question.

After quarantine do you acclimate fish to your display? I am keeping both display and quarantine tanks at same temp/salinity. Would there be a benefit to drip acclimate them to the display or do you just add them directly to the display?

Thanks,

I like to acclimate them anyway. I feel like changes in PH, as well as salinity and temperature, are harsh for the fish. I tend to take precautions with all living animals, to assure their survival. Especially when it's something that only takes and hour or so for the whole process.

For observation, I just do a normal hour, or two, drip acclimation.

For prophetically treated fish, I make sure all medications have run their course and then "clean" them out before they go in the display. This, followed by a standard drip acclamation, seems to get them ready for their new environment. I can't remember loosing any fish after the first 2 -3 weeks of QT so it seems to be doing well.

I also put all incoming fish in an acclimation box for a few days, to a couple weeks, depending on the fish.
