Quarantine Question

My tank has not finished cycling, but I wanted to go on and get a quarantine setup started. The first livestock I will purchase will be some inverts. Do I need to quarantine snails and shrimp? If so, what steps do I need to follow. I know inverts are sensitive to some medications so I don't want to harm anyone!

What are you going to use for qt? Just like a display it needs time to cycle and build biological filter. No need to medicate inverts just keep them away from fish for 76 days.

I have a piece of filter sponge in my sump I was going to put in a HOB filter. I really don't want to setup a permanent QT, so I was just going to transfer the sponge when needed.
