This is my first time quarantining, I'm a bit on the nervous side. I have attached pictures to see what I'm working with. My Ammonia/Nitrite/Nitrates/PH and Salinity are all good. I put a towel on the side to reduce reflection. I literally picked this guys up hours ago. I fed them brine/mysis they both ate but the male seems to hide more. I don't know if my sponge is supplying enough air flow. I was going to start PraziPro in the next couple of days. Any inputs are appreciated.

From the turbulence at the water surface in the photo, you seem to have enough air flow for your filter. Whether it is enough water circulation in the whole tank for the fish you can gauge by whether they are continuously gulping with their mouths. If so, it would be advisable to add a powerhead, if not you can relax.

I usually give my fish in qt a few days to get use to there new environment and make sure there eating good ,also on a new set up like yours it allows you a few days to make sure everything in and on the tank are working well and water parameters are stable. Once all this is covered then I decide which Med to start with. I will have a plan ahead of time how I see the qt going but sometimes in that first few days to week while I'm getting the fish settled in you may see a parasite or flukes and have to change your order of treatment. Good luck with qt

Thank you.

I would also advise waiting a couple days to treat with prazi and to add an extra air stone to the tank or a small powerhead. I don't see a heater in the tank... it would be a good idea to add one along with an ammonia alert badge so you can keep track of ammonia in real time even with the presence of meds in the water (which will often cause issues with liquid test kits). Are you currently treating with anything else? Copper?

^^ I agree, get an ammonia alert badge by seachem and if it's anything other than yellow, do large water change and re-dose any meds :)

Ammonia is a little up. I did a 50% water change in the 10 gal. Still showing ammonia and a tad low on ph. Is it okay to use prime ?

If no meds, and you will do an almost 100% water change or wait several days before dosing meds, yes.

Bio-Spira, Foam filter, ammonia badge, heater, thermometer, and . . . an old Marineland Emperor HOB filter (bio-wheel) turned down real low with Fluval Bio-max ceramic bits and Polyfilter floss cut-to-fit pads. Works great.
