Hi I’ve had my tank for nearly a year I never used to quarantine my fish before but have had 3 ich outbreaks and I keep removing my fish treating them and leaving my DT empty for 2 months. I’ve had enough and want to quarantine any new fish I get now.
I have a 70L tank as the “quarantine tank” I was wondering if I were to get let’s say 2 dwarf angel fish or 2 tangs, how would I go about quarantining them. Would it be in the same little tank, would they be ok? And is cupamine treatment for 2 weeks good enough ?
and final question my tank being FALLOW for 72 days with just my cuc in there. When I add my 5 fish (2 clowns coral beauty blenny firefish and cardinal) back to the tank will there be an ammonia spike or should I add them back one at a time?
Thanks in advance
