When quarantining should you use Paraguard and metroplex to get rid of any external and internal parasites or anything else?

Paraguard does not seem particularly effective against marine protozoans. Metroplex is just metronidazole, and it also has some issues treating external protozoans. My go-to pairing is coppersafe and prazipro, or coppersafe and General Cure. Always treat for protozoan issues first, and then for flukes, as the protozoans always show up sooner and kill faster than flukes do.

Can I substitute Coppersafe with CP? In India, where I live CP is readily available so I just wanted to ask if I can quarantine my fishes using General Cure and CP? Also, what would you say is the efficacy of CP compared to copper treatment. Thanks @JayHemdal

I’ve never used General cure and chloroquine, so I can’t comment on that. I prefer the ease of use with coppersafe over chloroquine. Be sure that if you are using chloroquine for human use that you subtract the mass of any binders used in the pills.
