Good evening r2r family. I am getting back into hobby after a 15 hiatus and really never ran quarantine tanks, This time around I would like to do everything possible to keep my main tank disease free. I am going to do a mixed reef system. My main tank is a Red Sea max 250 all in one although I did drill the back and added sump. It has been setup and running for about 6 wks. At about week 4 I did add a turbo and 3 Trochus snails and 4 hermits, all of which are still doing a great. I also setup a coral qt tank , which is a biocube 29 and a 29 gallon fish qt tank. They have been up for 5 wks. The coral tank has a small leather in it which has been there for about a week and doing well. The fish qt has a green chromis and a royal gramma which have been in for about a week and a half and also doing well. I am following a Leonard Ho‘s quarantine method that is a 3 wk process that uses Prazipro and cupramin. My question is that when these fish finish their time in quarantine and I add them to main tank and I am ready to do a second round of fish in quarantine tank do I have to start from scratch or should i just do say a 50% water change and check copper levels and then dose to get into optimal range and then just redose Prazipro at some point? I have searched blogs and YouTube and there are tons of videos and post telling you how to set up quarantine tank but I have not found any that give instructions of a continuous quarantine system or at least until main display is stocked with all the fish I want. My plan is to basically add 2 fish at a time after running them through quarantine for a total of around 10 smaller fish. Thanks in advance for any help.

I keep my Copper QT up and running all the time. I use Copper Power instead of cumpramine but I think the principles are the same. After a group of fish completes copper I do a big water change and lower my copper level to 1.0 (which is 1/2 of my therapeutic dose) . I introduce the new fish at that level and gradually increase the level over three days to 2.0 (measured by Hanna Copper checker which I highly recommend).
