Hey all I am setting up my Quarantine tank. If I put some zoanthids, glove polyp, yellow coral polyp and crabs in there for a couple weeks will they need the great lighting or will a normal fish tank stock hood be ok?
Do I really need to quarantine these guys?

I don't quarantine corals because I don't have an appropriate light for them over my QT. I inspect, dip and introduce to the DT. As to whether you should or not, the answer is yes. You should. It just minimizes the risks. Does that mean that you will fail if you don't? There's no answer there. Only time can tell. Remember that light is the source of food for corals so an appropriate light is important. Whether the specific specimens will be fine for a couple of weeks under regular lights... it's hard to tell. Probably a 50/50 there but you can try and plan on being ready to move them at the first sign of stress...
Good luck with things!

How about the crabs? Should they be quarantine? Or just a acclimate everything

You may want to put them in quarantine just to check them and make sure they are not carrying anything.
